I saw this Merlin flying and knew it was some type of hawk or falcon, watched it land on top of a pine tree and got a couple pictures there and then it went off again, I drove down the road for a couple hundred yards and spotted it again, closer this time and with a yellow-rumped warbler in its talons. The first image is a crop, the second a different non cropped image from the same spot. 800mm, 1/1600, f10, ISO 250.
