Typical for northeast Florida this time of year, we get lots of storms, and it could be any time of the day or night. This one was around 9:20 p.m., probably 5 miles away. It was cloud to cloud and there would be a series of flashes before the full discharge and that made it easy to time the shot.
This was taken with the EOS R5 mark II and RF 50mm f/1.2L USM - 1/60th, f/1.2, ISO 5000, hand held.
EDIT: That is not noise in the upper parts, it's other clouds.
