Intentional Camera Movement (ICM)

Tried my hand at some intentional camera movement of some wildflowers yesterday at a local park.  Set up with the R5 and the RF24-70, used a 6 stop ND filter and a CPL.  Slowed down the shutter speed to 0.5 seconds, F9 and adjusted the ISO accordingly.  Once the shutter was pressed, moved the camera from left to right to produce the results.  I know this is probably not for everyone, but I was happy with the results, kinda produces an abstract aftereffect.ICM-2.jpgICM-3.jpgICM-4.jpgICM-5.jpg

Ah, a Pictorialist in action - Claude Monet, the Impressionist, would have been impressed: these are very reminiscent of his famous water lilies series.  Great effort!

cheers, TREVOR

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
