Someone please help! What does this look like? I don’t understand. I’m pretty sure it’s an internal issue because I’ve cleaned the outside lens & taking a closer look I see something white inside the lens.

If you are seeing something white inside the lens it could be fungus.

How would I fix this issue ?

If you swap lenses and the dots appear in the same place, you may just have dirt on the sensor.

If it's residue in the lens, you would send the lens in for repair to Canon or the lens manufacturer--assuming Canon or the manufacturer still services the lens. I would highly advise against dismantling the lens yourself and thinking that it's a DIY job.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I have a canon g7x mark ii. I don’t believe I can switch it out to determine that

Canon still services that model camera. Contact Canon Service and see if they can assist.
