Thank you. I was coming off of a string of successes with my film photography work and was bored. So I grabbed my R8 and the RF 70-300 zoom that I find to be an astounding value and went out looking for inspiration. A massive, UGLY building is going up near my house--as the farming fields turn to industrial eyesore--and I shot at a distance at 300mm to isolate what it really was. I like quirky lenses that impart imperfections and I'm trying to find this lens' quirks. I shot some film with a Pentax KM and a 28-200mm Tempo lens--supposedly it's a Sigma rebrand--but it has some nice distortion. And of course I have Lensbaby for my Canons.

Digital via Canon R100 and R8. Analog via Pentax, Nikon, and Minolta 35mm SLRs and via Mamiya RB67 and 645, not to mention the persnickety Pentax 17.
