From Ventura California

My daughter and I took an afternoon drive to Ventura California as a quick getaway from the magic that Bakersfield is. I took along a Pentax K2 and my R8 with 45mm F1.2 RF lens. These photos are nearly SOOC with only the most minor of adjustments being made to them. My R8 with the 45mm lens is the sweet spot for me and the R8 just as the 28mm is the sweet spot for my R100.

Thank you for the kind words. I now look forward to using my R8 more because I think that I've found the right "take anywhere" combo. I am very impressed with the R8's ability to nail exposure on Program. RARELY do I have to intervene and exposure compensation is such a cinch to do.
