First lacrosse match

Earlier this week I shot lacrosse for the first time and this was also the school's first ever lacrosse match and the first time I attended a match so there was a lot of learning for all of us.  The boys ended the match losing 4-2 but not a bad effort for a brand new team from a small private school playing a co-op team from the area's two largest public schools that have been playing together for three years.  It is a really fast paced game and I am looking forward to more games!

Shot with Canon 1DX Mark II/EF 24-70 f2.8 @ f2.8, 1/1250, 1DX MarkII/EF 70-200 f2.8 @ f2.8, 1/1250, and 1DX Mark III/EF 400 f2.8 @ f2.8, 1/1250.  Auto ISO with ISO varying from 200 to 2000 across a match that started cloudy and quickly turned to fog and drizzle.

Good shots. I'm not familiar with the rules, etc., except the object is to get the ball in the net. I was noticing those little nets would be too small for all the big fish I catch.😂
