I had the awesome opportunity a few weeks ago to be on an USAF KC-135 stratotanker while conducting refueling operations over Edwards AFB. This is the shot while laying to the right of the boom operator when an F-35 pulled up and opened it's fuel port while waiting for the KC-135 to begin the refueling operation. Not many people get to witness this and it was truly an amazing experience I will forever be grateful for!
