This 60 frame stack was shot with the R6 and EF 100mm f/2.8 L macro lens. I used a Velbron Super Mag Slider macro rail attached to a Manfrotto 410 Jr. three axis tripod head. The rail allowed me to start the stack at 1:1. It was processed in Helicon Focus rather than DPP 4. I use a Dell XPS 17 that has an i7 10th gen 6 core, 16GB RAM, and M.2 NVMe 2TB SSD (It's pretty fast for a laptop) and DPP 4 takes to long to process these large stacks on this system.
This flower is smaller than a dime.
Aperture Priority f/6.3, ISO 1000, shutter 1/25, Evaluative metering. I used ambient light from a nearby window.

For the heck of it, I processed the same stack in DPP 4 and it took 20 minutes. But due to the fact that I could adjust saturation, sharpness, and lighting in the Raw files (edit one - copy paste recipe to the rest), the DPP processed looks a bit better, at least to me. Helican doesn't allow for Raw adjustment therefore you use a post editor for color adjustment, etc. It does export to PS via DNG I think. I've never used that feature.
