I am trying to set up a new scanner for one of our workers and in CaptureOnTouch pro v5 I keep getting the error code 80FD114D.
The computer is a windows 11 machine
I have checked in device manger to see if the driver could be updated. It was up to date.
I have tried running the registry repair tool from canon and it still did not fix the issue.
Uninstalled everything relating to the scanner and CaptureOnTouch and tried reinstalling everything. Still doesnt work.
I saw another post with a similar situation where i needed to find a temp folder and it said , "You need to find the one that contains files that say CANODR****.INF.x64, CANODR****.INF.x86, or CANODR***.cat.x64, CANODR***.cat.x64" but when looking for a temp folder with those files or any folder that resembles these files. This is the post I am referring too
Im at a lose of what is going on. I know its a driver issue but I dont know what other solutions to try.
