canon lide 400 - IJ Scan Utility no longer opens in default app

I've made no changes to my configuration but now the IJ Scan Utility no longer opens my scans in my chosen image-editing app.  It only opens in the Canon IJ PDF Editor and does not allow saving to another format.  I've tried all the settings in Preferences but can't locate how to fix this.  Image preview is on but when I click to continue I only get a pdf document of the scan.

Thanks, Danny.  Fixed.

My imaging app updated and I had to point IJ Scan Utility to the new location again.  In earlier troubleshooting, the doc type got changed to pdf.  Probably not a good idea to allow those settings to change when using the mouse scroll wheel anywhere with the settings open.
