TS6020 not scanning

jolo

We have a PIXMA TS6020, and I have always been able to print and scan on my mac, but my wife can only print.  We both have macs with Sequoia 15.1.1. After much research, the Canon Support site claims that the 6020 is not compatible with Sequoia 15. Huh. I can print and scan and she can only print? Well my computer has a Canon TS6000 series-AirPrint with a driver version of 3.0. My wife has a driver version 4.0. So my question is: where can I get the driver version 3.0?

Hi jolo,

Disabling IPv6 on your TS6020 should resovle this issue.

Please follow these steps:

1.  Turn your PIXMA TS6020 on.

2.  Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the lower left corner of your printer's display.

3.  If a password message appears, tap Yes.

4.  Tap the LAN settings button at the bottom.

5.  Tap Common settings.

6.  Tap TCP/IP settings.

7.  Tap IPv6.

8.  Tap Yes.

9.  Tap Enable/disable IPv6.

10. Tap Disable.

"Processing..." will appear.  Once that goes away, please turn your printer off and then turn your Mac off.

Please go to your router and unplug the power cord.  Wait 30 seconds or so and then reconnect the power cord to your router.

When your Wi-Fi network is back online, please turn your Mac back on and then your TS6020 back on.

Once everything has ready, please attempt to scan.
