Help for Capture Perfect 3.1: How to change from *.pdf to *.PDF

Trying to figure this out a little blind and remotely for a field user.

Receiving *.pdf files

I think I need *.PDF for them to be compatible with my system.

Is there a way to change that flavor of PDF?  Conversion doesn't seem to work.  

Is there an option to change file type or flavor somewhere?
