I am trying to use my scanner which I have had since 2021 and works fine up until now. I plugged it in and it made a little noise as it usually goes when it's connected, but then it did not proceed with the overview scan as normal. Whenever I try to press overview scan it doesn't let me go through with it, and when I press scan it tries to scan but nothing is moving. It's like it's connected but not enough. I've restarted, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, reinstalled the scanner profile in system preferences several times, nothing. Please help!!!!

Hi,
Please disconnect the USB cable from your scanner and then toggle the lock switch back and forth a few times, leaving it in the unlocked position.
Please open the cover and make sure that the scanning element is on the side with the buttons, not the hinge side.
Reconnect the USB cable an attempt to scan.
