How do I get a .PPE file for my Asus Chromebook to accept my new Canon CanoScan LiDE 300?
I talked to Canon Customer Support, all they could conclude was for me to contact ASUS and ask them why there isn't a file that reads my Canon Scanner...I don't even know what model Chromebook this is...I got my Chromebook in 2023, and the warranty is almost certainly out anyway...

The question you should be asking first is whether the scanner is Chromebook-compatible. Lots of printers and scanners are not. Look for a Chromebook driver on Canon Support for the scanner.

It isnt listed...but I was told it is compatible with Chromebook...my scanner shows up on my Chromebook under scanners...it just doesn't communicate when I press scan

Told by who? Asus and Canon would be the reliable sources.
