Canon ImageFormula DR-6010C scanning slow.

The scanner will scan the first few pages quickly then slows down between pages which caused it to take an extreme amount of time to do a large scan. Reinstalled the latest software from Canon Support for imageFORMULA DR-6010C Office Document Scanner | Canon U.S.A., Inc. and it doesn't help.

We were able to resolve the issue by using the Capp3 file in AppData. Had to copy it over to get it working. I never heard back from Canon Support after my reply. At least we figured it out and had access to the old file.

Hi, jcioppa02!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof) and how the two devices communicate (i.e. via Wi-Fi or via a USB cable). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you for the response. The laptop is running Windows 10 Pro and to scan we are using the USB cord to connect to it.

Hello jcioppa02,

I am having the same problem since last week. I've tried to install everything on a different computer but the result was the same...

Can you tell me what you did to fix this with more detail please? I have only one computer left where runs correctly and I'm afraid that it will end up failing too

Thank you for your kind cooperation
