CanoScan 9000F and Windows 11

Is there any work around to use the Cannon 9000F Scanner with Windows 11?

Windows 11 will recognize the scanner and provide a generic driver.  Unless something has changed, you will NOT get the full resolution the scanner is capable of providing.  your options are Vuescan or windows 10 which will not be patched after October.  I forget if the Linux install gave you full res.  been a while.

Aug, 2025.  Went to European Canon site. They had the software for my 9000F scanner. Downloaded it. BUT, now need to change the "version" of software canon shows on the screen.  Change to Win 10, then you get driver.  Install the software, then install the driver.  Win11 25h2 version.  Now scanner works with a I7, M.2 and 16 gb laptop.  Works !
Best part, just installed Start11, a program to show your screen like as Win 7 or Win 10.  Now my Win11 PC can work just like it should.  Win11 menu system is horrible.
