XF605 Video Jumping

BayLee
Apprentice

This concern just started happening today.

I noticed the video coming from my camera (XF605) was periodically bouncing around as if I was shaking the camera up and down, however it is remaining idle.

Now, an almost grinding sound is emanating from within the camera and the lense is moving about all over the place with no input from myself.

I just updated the firmware but the condition is still happening.

I've tried messing with image stabilizer as that to me feels like what the culprit is, but this changes no behavior.

Sounds like the internal lens stabilization has failed. A repair centre is probably your only option.
