Has anyone come across an issue like this? On Saturday whilst filming a wedding a small yellow/red blumish appeared in the lower part of the frame on the viewfinder, pic enclosed. Is there a simple remedy for the problem? The footage is unaffected and looks fine so it's probably a viewfinder issue.

What equipment is this? I notice that this particular scene is completely overexposed. Perhaps that area represents blown highlights. Notice that the waveform also indicates you're way overexposed.

Of course the image is way overexposed, this was intentional so that I could illustrate the blotch/mark in the bottom of the viewfinder screen without any background distractions. The camera is a canon c70. Here is an iPhone photo of the screen.

That's false color. Red indicates that white will be clipped. Yellow indicates you're just below white clipping.
