I run a C300 mk II with a CN-e 7x17 lens, sometimes for long hours, so I wanted to utilize all my 18V Makita batteries rather than buying more D-Tap batteries. The Makita Batteries output 20V when fully charged so I fitted a regulator that outputs 12V and up to 15A. The lens works perfectly but the camera will not turn on. I expect it needs a little more than 12V to allow it to start.
What is the maximum voltage I can put in the LEMO jack? would 20V from the Makita battery (unregulted) be ok?
