EOS C100 Pluges in SMPTE color bars visible on one monitor, not on other

Hello I had a burning question. I am using HDMI to see the color bar from the C100.

When I use one of my monitors I could see the three pluges if I increase the brightness. However when I use another monitor, The Lilliput 28" Field Monitor I could not see the three plugs at all. I see only one even though I increase the brightness. Is this because the canon C100 is sending out Video level for the color bar, while this Lilliput field monitor is reading Data level?

Thank you for your time.

A lot would depend on how accurate the monitors are and if they are calibrated to a standard such as REC709 Gamma 2.4.
