washed out photos on a Canon Pixma Pro -100

I'm printing on a Canon - Pro 100 printer. My problem is all my photos are either coming back too dark, too light, or faces are too bright. On the laptop that I'm using, all pictures before printing looks great but as soon as I print I'm getting one of the issues listed above. I have tried adjusting the photos throught photoshop or lightroom, but I 'm still getting same results. Please help give me some insight on my problem. Do I  need to upoad copies of the photos?

Hi, Casfrustrated!

Including some images would be helpful here.  When composing your message, click the "Insert/Edit Image" icon at the top of the text box. It's near the center of the formatting options ribbon and it's a square with a pair of mountain peaks in it. Click on it and you'll get more instructions.
