Just set up new Pixma Pro-100 using wireless network yesterday. I am now getting message "this printer is offline". How do I get it back online? I'm on a iMac running macOS Sierra v.10.12.1 with 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor.

Is printer turned on? If connecting via wifi printer must be left on all the time?

Thanks. The printer is on-solid white light on power button, solid blue wifi light on printer front. Did a reinstall of the printer software from disk & still getting the printer is not connected message. Printer does work when connected by a usb cable.

I have my PRO-100 connected via USB to a W7 machine and via wifi to a MacBook Sierra manchine and a Macbook El Capitan machine.
Have you re-verified the router-printer setup? If that doesn't reveal the problem give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
