imagePROGRAF PRO-310 cannot change paper type, double lines and ghosting

Hi all. I am using a Prograf 310. When I first setup the printer I was getting a violet ghosting when I would print blue images. I cannot remember what I did to correct the problem, but it corrected.

It is happening again. I did alignment and ran nozzle check. There are no missing sects however there are abnormalities, and I don't know what they mean. You can see double lines, and you can see some of the black vertical bands have whatever that additional color is. See image below

I am also having trouble changing the default paper type. no matter what I do I cannot change it. When I try to change it from the printer settings on the printer itself, to a different paper it keeps going back to Platinum Pro. The same when I try to change it from Windows.

 

Can anyone help with any of these issues?
