I have a Pixma Pro 200 printer. It prints fine when using other programs, however it won't print photos from Photoshop Elements. I get the following message:
"Print data cannot be sent because of the current printer status. Check that the printer is connected and the power is on. If an error has occurred in the printer, clear the error. Even when the printer is operating correctly, this message may appear if the printer is taking a long time to perform an operation. If this message does not disappear after some time, stop printing, and then print again."
Hoping someone has an answer for me!
Thanks!

Hi pefish,
Are you using your PIXMA PRO-200 wirelessly?
or with a USB cable?
What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
If using a Mac, what version of the macOS is installed?

Yes, I'm using the printer wirelessly, not with a wired connection. I'm operating on Windows 11 Pro.

Hi pefish,
Let's reinstall the drivers. Please turn your PIXMA PRO-200 off and then follow these steps:
1. On your computer, please press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter I, then let both go.
2. Click on "Bluetooth & devices" on the left side.
3. On the right side, click on "Printers & scanners".
4. Click on the Canon PRO-200 series. In the new window, click "Remove" at the top.
5. Repeat until all PRO-200's have been removed from the Printers list.
6. Close the Printers window once complete.
Next, we will download the latest driver:
1. Please click this link: https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-pro-200#DOWNLOADS
2. Click on Software & Drivers.
3. Choose "Windows" from the Operating System drop down and then "Windows 11" from the Version drop down.
4. Click the Download button to the right of "PRO-200 Printer Driver Ver.1.01 (Windows)". Note: you may have to click the "Load More" button to locate this.
5. Once that file finishes, please open or run that file to begin the installation on your computer. If you have to search for the file first, the files name is: "pd__-win-pro_200-1_01-ea34_2.exe"
6. Follow the on screen prompts to reinstall. Please do not turn your printer back on until the installation prompts you to.
Once reinstalled, please attempt to print.
