imagePROGRAF PRO-310 Trouble installing on macOS Sequoia

usb install for Canon Pro-310 on my Mac Book Pro M1 with Sequoia. I am having no luck! Thank you!

it just says cannot find printer.  i am hooking up my cable to the pro-310 and using the usb adapter c to hook up to my laptop.  it does not show the printer at all.  I am also trying to set up wirelessly.  it recognizes the air print but not the IJ .  Just having a heck of a time.  I am on day two of trying to install this printer.

i can only add the airprint version. i can't even add the IJ  version?  So frustrated!!

Please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives for assistance with installing your imagePROGRAF PRO-310 on your Mac. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on your imagePROGRAF PRO-310 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative will assist you with installing your PRO-310 on your Mac.
