The MBK part of my head is clogged. My bad: I make sure to print from time to time to prevent this, but it didn't occur to me to print in matte paper from time to time to protect against clogs.
Two regular cleanings didn't work. I just did a deep cleaning, and it STARTED to work--about 25% of the test pattern for MBK now prints. the rest remains blank.
Is there any harm in doing multiple deep cleanings? I vaguely recall reading a warning years ago, but I can't find it.
The alternative is a new head, which along with the ink wasted in a head replacement costs nearly as much as the printer.
Thanks

@dkoretz, sorry to hear it failed again. You mentioned that when you start a System Clean from the computer, you can specify which three inks you want to flush, is that correct!? When I did mine, I initiated it from the printer UI and did not have that option. Please confirm. I might give that a try later.

yes, on my computer (windows 11), I access through the operating system. Go to printers and scanners in settings. (Just type print in the search bar on the start menu, and it will pop up on the right.) Select the printer, then "printer properties". Click on the maintenance tab. You will see icons for the three levels of cleaning on the left. That's what gives me the choice of which sets of inks.
