Trying to install a new print head on Pixma Pro 100

My printer has been setting for a few years. I bought a new print head for the printer and I cannot get the print rail to slide back over to install the new head. Does anybody have a solution on how to get the print rail back to the opening to install the new print head? Thanks ahead.

Plug the printer in. Press the power button to turn on.
