I need a new printer and new print stock.
I print professional-quality sports cards for a variety of clients. Demand keeps going up, and I need a more efficient (cost-effective) method. Currently, this is how I do it:
1) Print card fronts on 8.5x11 glossy photo paper
2) Print card backs on 8.5x11 matte photo paper
3) Align and glue the pages
4) Cut the cards from the pages (9 per page)
Surely, there is a better way to do this, right?
Is there a heavy stock (baseball card heavy) that will allow photo-quality printing on the front and back (ideally, glossy on one side and matte on the other)?
Which of your printers can be (very accurately) offest-aligned, so that the front and back printing matches up perfectly?
Tell me what to buy!
Thanks,
Ron

Thanks! We may be waiting a long time though, since the original post was over two years ago. After awhile, I took the silence to mean "Canon can't do that."
