Hello just joined to hopefully get an answer/solution to this...
I've been given an old Pixma iX5000, old I know, but it has never been used and is "as new". The printer works great but I would love to find a way to print a longer paper length than the 19" A3+. Creating custom paper sizes hasn't worked, the printer overrides them. I hoped to be able to print up to 26" in length (as I've read some later Canons can) but with no success.
If anyone used to, or still does, own a similar machine, and they managed to somehow get around the maximum print length of 19" I'd really appreciate a little of your shared wisdom...
Cheers!
