Pro-6600 MBK channel drop out requiring system clean (also might relate to Pro-4600 or Pro-2600)

Since receiving the printer, My MBK channel has dropped out during a print job on 4 different occasions since being put in to service in April of this year, so once a month or so.  Sometimes the nozzle check looks fine, but it seems more often that it will show an incomplete pattern.  The problem is not resolved with the first 2 levels of cleaning, but a system clean seems to get things operational.

I was curious if anyone else has seen a problematic single channel on these new models, MBK or otherwise that was problematic.  I'll be calling Canon tomorrow or Monday, but was hoping to see if there are any similar situations or if it is an isolated issue.
