Pro-1000 icc profiles

Hi,

I am just setting up my pro-1000 and although the driver is installed and working, I don't see ICC profiles for canon paper. Where can I download these?

Thanks!

S

Welcome to the forum.

Canon paper profiles should be installed when you install gthe IJ Series driver.

1. do you have the IJ Series driver installed?

2. Where are you looking for the profiles; what software?

I'm on a Mac, if that helps - downloaded the printer driver and the dialog box comes up and I can print - perhaps there's more software to install?

Thanks for your kind attention,

Susan

It depends what you want to print. macOS comes with Preview which will let you view and print many kinds of files.

The Pro-1000 is a top level professional printer. I assume you purchased it for a purpose; what are you wanting to print?

Yes, I know this is a professional printer. I'm trying to find the profiles for Canon paper, and have been able to print successfully through Lightroom after installing the drivers.

I can easily find ICC profiles for every other paper manufacturer for the printer.

Since I installed OS X Monterey, there are no Canon icc profiles for my Pro-1000 printer. Nothing comes up in search for .icc, and they are not in the library files. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver. Where can I re-download them?
