Printer prints black ink spots and lines on the backside of cardstock paper

Sugaree

I have tried cleaning via the utility for bottom plate many times but whenever I use 110lb cardstock these black dots and lines, mostly on the edge of the left side of the paper, are on the back. I am at a loss as to what to do. I did every cleaning option, please advise as to how I can manually try to clean this.

thanks

If you open the cover where the ink is you can carefully wipe the metal strip that is there to see if there is any ink on it.

I don’t have experience printing on cardstock. If it is thicker than printer paper maybe setting the reduce paper abrasion setting in the printer driver would help. Just a guess.
