Just recently purchased Mac mini M1 with OS Monterrey version 12.3.1
When try to print on PIXMA PRO9000 MarkII (which was working with older Mac mini and older OS) it will not print and get error: Stopped filter failed.
Canon driver website indicates there is not a driver download go OS 12
It also notes that perhaps the OS doesn’t require a driver, or that the OS already has the driver.
It appears the latter may be the case because the OS references the printer name in the driver field when I reset the printer.
Still, no printing and the same filter failed error.
How do I resolve this problem?

Sometimes resetting the print system resolves this error.
