The front tray on my Canon Pixma Pro 9500 printer cracked, and it no longer turned a large gear that prevented it from opening too quickly. It also isn't perfectly level (but very close).
However, the printer won't print. It shows flashes the yellow light 10 times, and the driver reports "service error 9100".
Can anyone tell me if there is a sensor that needs switching? A little switch? Something to fix? I cannot find a manual showing how this front tray assembly is put together.
Help! I cannot print!

Is that the 10 alternating blue/amber flashes that tells you service error 9100? If so, I am looking for that same sensor.
