Hi, I have a Pixma Pro-100 which has been very reliable. It has been in the shop for two weeks because the printer head was literally going nuts. It has been diagnosed as the "LED sensor for the encoder strip is not working." I live in the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area) and have been trying to find a place that can fix the printer. I guess I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if it is even worth repairing. It is very difficult to find any place that can fix it. I am willing to drive.
