I recently purchased a Canon Prograf PRO-1100 Photo Printer and in starting to use more fine art paper I using the rear manual paper feed only to discover that the rear tray would not feed and / or detect paper and an error Code 88 would immediately be displayed.
After doing a lengthy online diagnostic, it appears the rear manual feed actuator flag / sensor is not being detected.
This is a BRAND NEW pro grade photo printer !!! Have there been others that have experienced the same issue ??
Just trying to understand if this is something that I can fix and resolve or if I need to lug this heavy printer to the camera store I purchase it at or to a Canon service center.
Thank you for any words of wisdom.
