Hello everyone,
This may be obsolete for most, but I purchased a PRO-100 especially to print on special media.
I have a project to do on multiple discs, and my printer gives me 2 alternating error codes.
A 2 Flash that specifies that it's awating media to be there,
I then install the K tray and press the resume button
Then a 6 Flash error code appears saying that the CD Tray is being used and has to be closed!
Has Canon purposefully deleted the option to print on Discs and Plastic cards?
I am obviously kidding, I do not want to speculate, but it's quite disappointing that I can't print my project.
I tried with Easy-PhotoPrint Editor and Swift Publisher.
I forced the selection of the media and tray even if by default, the K tray is selected EVERYWHERE. I'm on a Mac, running Sonoma 14.3.1. All the drivers and the firmware have been updated.
BIG EDIT.
I managed to print with the K Tray with My Image Garden, BUT it printed the entire area of the printer’s real estate! There’s now color smearing. This is atrocious, I don’t even know how my pictures will look after that. Such disappointment!!
I need help! Thank you!

Hi NiGHTSaturn,
Please click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Settings.
In System Settings, scroll to the bottom of the left side and click on Printers & Scanners.
Click one time on your PRO-100 on the right side. A new window will open.
In that new window, what is listed to the right of "Kind" ?
Also, what do you mean when you state "it printed the entire area of the printer’s real estate" ?
