Pixima Pro 9500 II - Colors Not Vivid

danpbphoto
Contributor

Have had this printer for about 6 years. Always worked fine until now.

Colors are not vivid at all..dull..All settings the same prior to problem. Maintenance checks AOK, Paper profile same..different image prints same. My 9000 II prints it exactly as should and exactly as 9500 II did prior to fault.

Ps manages color, Relative colormetric..

Reloaded drivers twice.

Any comments on what might be wrong?

Also my 1st post here, so can you upload images for people to compare?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Solution....printer driver was NOT installed correctly. I was not getting proper workflow from Canon Download and Install on installation. Called Canon and TS got me a new link for the drivers and Voila!!

Works fine....

I read a similar post on another site. Check your grey ink his problem was that ink read full but it was reading in error.

Thanks John..This would not be the first time that the printer gave me a false ink reading BUT as I stated, I replaced all the ink cartdg. per my initial problem.

But I will try again...thanks for your response!
