PRO-2000 Ink leaking onto prints

Frankel

Hello,

My PRO-2000 has started leaking ink onto the edge of prints - see image below.

i'm considering changing the print head but am worried that this might just be a waste of £500 - the dot count of the current head is less than half of the previous head when that was changed (prompted by the printer to change, there are no error messages with the current fault).

Do you think it's the head that is the problem?

Thanks for any help.

Frank.

I replaced the PF-10 print head.

I've attached a photo of the faulty old one below - you can see the leak of magenta ink.

According to the print head dot count I've had less than half the expected use from this head before it developed the fault (and it lasted 10.5 months). Are the heads covered by a warranty? Any help much appreciated.
