PIXMA Pro9000 - Faded and off color photo

I replaced my print head today. Once I installed it the 5 flashing light error went away. The printer did it’s normal cycling then started printing. The page I printed came out very faded.  So I did a deep clean. Tried printing a photo and it came out faded and off color. My photo magenta was low, but that’s only thing that was off. What might be causing this issue?

Hi JK10262684.  Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA Pro 9000 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you find a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!

Can you print a nozzle check and post a phone shot of the print?

Print this test image and see how it looks. Open in your photo software and print; don't make any adjustments.
