This printer is by farrr the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with !!

I use a canson aquarelle rag paper 240 gsm, and it takes me about 30 minutes to make one print. I have to manually feed the paper and stay by the printer because it does not feed unless I have my hand on the top of the paper.

Is this normal ??? I am ready to sell this thing.

I don't use that paper, but have used papers of similar and heavier weight with no problems.

You are using the manual feed tray? Paper is 13x19?

You have selected the Canon media type recommended by Canson?

Have you ever performed a roller cleaning?

Hi John,

I have done a roller cleaning, but I have not selected the canon media type.

Would you mind sharing how to set that up ?

I also have the ICC setup as a canon rep assisted me before, and it worked for a week but it takes 15 minutes to print, I load the paper on the manual feed tray and I have to reclick to print, the orange light blinks and I have to stand by the printer to click, and print.. its a never ending process.

Here is the settings you need for a Windows computer with software controlling color.

If you are on a Mac I can post that as well.

Illustrator... although I have been having so many issues I tried to print in photoshop and that has been working a bit more.

OK. I don't have Illustrator, and a lot of folks on the forum seem to have trouble printing from Illustrator, but when I get to my computer I will post the settings in Ps.

Here's what Ps settings should be.

On my computer and iPad, jrhoffman75's useful screenshots have disappeared and been replaced by a pale pink X. Why?
