PIXMA PRO-100 stopped recognizing light grey ink tank

My Pro -100 all of a sudden stopped recognizing light grey. They worked fine and I never haven't a problem before. Cartridges are Canon. Holding the stop button, cycling the power, reseating cartridges did not work. Any suggestions?

Is it with more than one LGY cartridge or just a particular one?

It’s just the LGY. Whats frustrating is this happened without a cartridge change and cartridge sill has plenty of ink.

You could try to reseat the print head.

I’ll try that.

Reseating printhead didn't work.

Sounds like a bad head or an electrical problem.

Folks on here haven't been able to find service facilities. Ebay has used print heads for around $100 and new for a little over $200. But they are not returnable so if it isn't the head you are out that money.

Maybe a used one from eBay.
