PIXMA PRO 10 paper loading problems

rparker124

I use a PIXMA PRO 10 with Mac OSX 12.1.  I use Lightroom and am printing with QImage One.  I have been using letter size and cut size (5.5x8.5) photo paper (ie Epson Platine, Hot Press, Canson natural aquarelle, Canson Rag Photographique 210gsm and 310gsm). Paper thickness is typically 190gsm to 325gsm).  I am using the rear load multi sheet tray.  I am careful to adjust paper size in the QImage One RIP for proper sizing of paper and print...

I am testing papers in 5.5x8.5 cut size and periodically into a problem when I have several cut sheets loaded sometimes the printer will load and print, some other times with exact same size sheets loaded of compatible thickness I will get error message of "no paper" or it mis feeds.  I ran some tests today and ran into this problem with my Canson papers.  YET, when I ran a shame size sheet of regular copy paper it fed and printed fine.  When I also fed a letter size sheet it fed and printed fine.  Yet when I tried to load several Canson half sheets I get "no paper error".  It does not see and feed the paper.

Anyone have this problem.  I also cannot seem to find how to call or email Canon. directly to get tech support from them on this matter.

Thanks,

Bob
