Help! Canon Pro200 on Matte Paper Blurry

mmarshall

Hi,

Recently got the PIXMA PRO-200 trying to print on 300gsm Matte Paper but the lines are not sharp at all, and it seems there are tiny white flecks (maybe from the ink not providing full coverage) in the image, i'm trying to print graphic design. I have reached out to the paper company for the ICC file but i fear they'll be unable to provide one.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Heres the paper i'm trying to print on https://www.thepaperbox.co.uk/large-square-card-blanks-white-matte-300gsm/

Thanks,

Maria

Hi.

Matte papers should always be brushed off with a soft drafting type brush to remove loose coating particles.

You could try using the Canon Matte Photo paper ICC profile.
