I have two Canon Pro's (one a 2000 one a 2100) that has stopped recognizing that there is any ink cartridge in Gray and sometimes other colors as well. I have tried new cartridges and still nothing. All it says is ink not installed properly.
Anyone know of a way to fix this without spending more than the cost of a new printer on parts?

Welcome to the forum Allison.
This is a user participation support forum.
Have you tried contacting Canon or the supplier of your printers?

Hey! I have contacted support and they wanted to try replacing a part they think MIGHT fix the problem, but it was going to end up costing close to $1000. I was hoping to see if someone else had a solution first.
