Definitely print the test image Tim identified. Very important is to not make any adjustments to the test image before printing, regardless of how it looks on screen.
No adjustments to the image prior to printing. The monitor is set to 6500K. I will print the test page suggested by Tim. However, I am not clear what it is supposed to show me.

Ok... the test image printed beautifully! So, that's not the issue

All is well now. I am guessing here that perhaps the image I was using to print on the 13x19 paper was to small. I used a larger size of the same image and tried printing again and this time it looks perfect.
