I have a Pixma Pro-100 that I've used for many years. A couple of days ago when the black ink ran out, I noticed that about halfway through an image being printed the black completely stopped printing. I replaced the black cartridge but when I did lines started showing up all across my prints. I have done every maintenance procedure in the driver but I have had no luck getting the lines to go away. It is very noticeable on dark backgrounds (see attached). I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest driver. I also tried a different black ink cartridge.
Is there a fix for this? Any help would be appreciated.
