I'm having an issue with our CANON imageRUNNER Advance DX C5840i, for only some of our computers we are unable to print in color. We've gone through every setting we can think of, I checked to see if the printer drivers were updated, they were, I went into printing preferences and swapped it between color and auto and it still prints in black and white. When you go to print, on the print screen there we turned it to color and turned off the "let the app change my printing preferences" and it's still in black and white.
We know it's not a printer hardware or ink issue because other people can print the same image in color at the same time. We're also still well over half full on the toner cartridges.
I've also gone to the custom printer settings on the website and that is set to Auto. Is there a setting I'm missing? This issue has occurred on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops.
