I am trying to replace a self-signed certificate on an iR-ADV C5550 but am getting an error message when trying to register the certificate. The error only states: "An error occurred during registration" It shows the file name I am trying to register and an OK button. That is it. I am not sure why it is failing.
I created the pfx file using the Windows builtin certreq commands and a .inf file with the printer host name and IP address. We have an on-prem CA from which the certificate was requested from. I converted the .cer file to pfx which has the private key.
The thing I don't understand is that I am using the same process from a couple of years ago when I successfully registered a different certificate.
Any ideas?
